Instructional Leadership in Teaching and Assessing Writing

What should we look for in the writing classroom? What should our students be able to do? How can we help the classroom teacher improve writing instruction? In this workshop, we will see how state and district content standards, state and district tests, scoring guides, modes and forms of writing, the writing process, and writing assignments can all come together for sound instruction and increased student learning.
