ATI can bring to your district a two-day workshop based on the content of Pearson ATI’s latest book, Seven Strategies of Assessment for Learning. The workshop is designed to: 1. deepen participants’ understanding of how assessment for learning can be woven into daily teaching activities and 2. to prepare them to lead others in ongoing, learning team study of these practices.
Specific topics include:
- Helping students develop a clear vision of the intended learning
- Providing descriptive feedback effectively and efficiently
- Teaching students to self-assess and set goals
- Preparing students to reflect on, track and share their learning
- Preparing to lead team-based professional development with the book Seven Strategies of Assessment for Learning
